Kathryn Bailey is a New York City based costume designer originally from Newburgh, IN. Some of her professional credits include working on the Broadway design teams for Hamilton: An American Musical, currently on Broadway and National Tours (2015-2018), Pictures From Home (Studio 54, 2023), Days of Wine and Roses (Studio 54, 2024), Diana the Broadway Musical (Longacre Theatre, 2020), Tootsie (Marquis Theatre, 2019), Frozen on Broadway (St. James Theater, Disney Theatrical, 2018), and the National Broadway Tour of Newsies (Disney Theatrical, 2014).
Some of her select tv and film credits include working on design teams for TV show Fantasmas (HB0), American Sports Story (Season 1), American Horror Story (Season 11), Fallout (Amazon Season 1), City on a Hill (Showtime Season 3), Spinning Gold (Feature Film 2021),and High Maintenance Season 3 (HBO), 2018.

Most recently Kathryn designed Dylan Mulvaney's 365 Girlhood performance at the Rainbow Room in NYC. She also designed feature film titled American Insurrection streaming on Showtime and Paramount Plus (starring Michael Raymond James, Brandon Perea, Nick Westrate, Toby Moore), Foreign Nationals (pilot episode, Amazon), SC7NARIO (BroadwayHD).

Kathryn is also a painter who works doing commissioned pieces ranging in mediums like oils, watercolor, acrylic and ink.
Her unique background and experience in Broadway, film/tv, and painting gives her a unique perspective on design, using the art elements to tell a story in a meaningful and special way.
